Digital India Land Record Modernisation Programme (DILRMP) – This was launched by the centre in 2008. The main target of initiating such programme was to make sure about better maintenance of the land records, along with improving transparency in the entire process. Government of Karnataka has introduced “Bhoomi”, an online platform for the citizens of the state for checking their land records online. The official website of Bhoomi is http://rtc.karnataka.gov.in
Bhoomi is an online platform designed to issue RTC (Record of Rights, Tenancy and Crops) is also known as Pahani.
To offer the optimal support to the people, Bhoomi offices have been set over 175 taluks along with 6000 Gram Panchayats of the state.
